Mr. Kwaku Osei-Bonsu
Kwaku started his international career as ILO Chief Technical Adviser in Tanzania in 1992 where he introduced the private sector to labour based works in road rehabilitation and maintenance. He worked with the ILO for over twenty one years in various capacities before taking early retirement in December 2013.

Mr. Kwaku Osei-Bonsu
Kwaku is a Civil Engineer by profession and until 31 December 2013, was the Senior Regional Specialist on Employment Intensive Investments Programme with the ILO Decent Work Team for Eastern and Southern Africa in Pretoria, South Africa.
Kwaku started his international career as ILO Chief Technical Adviser in Tanzania in 1992 where he introduced the private sector to labour based works in road rehabilitation and maintenance. He worked with the ILO for over twenty one years in various capacities before taking early retirement in December 2013.
Prior to joining the ILO, he worked for over 10 years as an Engineer with the Department of Feeder Roads where as a Project Manager and later as National Co-ordinator for the labour based Works, was responsible for the development of labour-based contractors in Ghana.
Kwaku is currently the President of the Ghana Association of Former International Civil Servants (GAFICS). GAFICS is made up of retirees of the UN and its Agencies, Bretton Woods Institutions and reputable international organisations.
